Merger Update
Following the SGM held on the 20th October 2008, the Trustees of the BNES wish to announce that following a unanimous decision by the attendees of the SGM, the BNES has decided to merge with the Institution of Nuclear Engineers to form the Nuclear Institute. The assets will be formally transferred on the 31st December 2008 with the NI beginning operation from the 1/1/2009. The BNES and BNES ltd will be wound up shortly after this.
The Trustees would like to thank the support from the membership during this time and are confident that the NI will continue the good work carried out by the BNES into the future.
